Is life fair?

This question sometimes comes to my mind: Is life fair? Everyone should ask himself the same question. I did think deeply to answer this question, but to answer it some concepts should be clarified. Some people believe that the life fair since everyone can be everyone he/she wants to be if he/she puts his/her mind to it, therefore life is fair and if somebody is unhappy, it is because he/she doesn’t work hard enough. However, this is not totally true because of several reasons:

People are born in different level of livings (viable) and different level of smartness. These differences may continue and therefore could affect the rest of the human’s life. Thus, the effort of individuals varies from one to other. Some put a small effort to achieve the same result of others who put, in contrast, a huge effort.  So, is that fair?!

Some people live more than others, some of them live much longer and others live much less. My cousin, for example, died when he was in 30s and one of my friends died when he was 25. On the other hand, I know some people whose ages are above 70 and 80 now. So do they have the same chances to work hard and enjoy the life!!

In addition, some people were born in a country that is in a war. Some were born orphans and they have not seen their parents etc.

Anyone who thinks carefully around him, he could conclude that this life is not totally fair. When I asked the question: Is life fair? I meant 100% fairness!!  So what is that mean? Does that mean God is not fair?!! Of course not!!

This life is not meant to be our permanent life!!  It is only temporary. How is that?!!

If this life is the only life we have, then this is definitely not fair. So, if I believe in God, and God is the greatest, then I should believe there is, for sure, another life.

Yes, this life is a big examination for all people to see who help others and who is a good believer. And to be honest, it is not an easy exam because this life can easily makes you forget the purpose of life. This life has wonderful things which could make you enjoy and think that this is the only life we have. Actually, everyone is being examined in every second of his life, but unfortunately the human becomes weak when he follows only his desires. If he does that and continues, he would become a slave of his desires and then forgets the God.

Another question, what happened to people who killed others and steal others, what happened to people who died from these killers and lost valuable things form these thieves?

Ummm there should be a day where everything in this life must be evaluated, and this day is called the Judgment day!! In that day, the justice and fairness will be between people regardless their nationalities, colors, bodies, languages … the only thing matter is Faith !!

Finally, “The Story of the Ditch” is very good example showing that this life is nothing, and what we should care about is the next life. People died just because they believed in God, so is that fair what happened to them?! This is not fair if there is only one life!!  That boy who sacrificed himself to show to people the right path and that king who won in this life, shouldn’t be another life to punish the king and reward the boy ?!! … I don’t want spoil the whole story, you can read it from here
